What to Expect

WHO COMES TO LIVING WATER ON SUNDAYS?

Living Water is a friendly family of believers in Jesus Christ, as well as many others who are simply exploring Jesus with us. Whether you are new in town and looking for a Bible-believing church, or its been a while since you’ve been to church, or you’ve never been to church,  you will feel welcome here – no matter what you look like, how you vote, or what you believe about God. We’d love to have you join us this Sunday!

WHAT’S A SERVICE LIKE?

At Living Water we’re all about making known the beauty of Jesus, so our services are built around the Bible, which is one big story about Jesus (Luke 24:27). We begin by singing a couple of songs to and about God, to remind one another what is true, then we open our Bibles to learn about Jesus and what He has done for us in the gospel. Our sermons typically last about hour or so, and are built around explaining a text verse by verse. Some people bring their Bibles to read along, some take notes for further study, and some simply sit and listen. Then we close by singing a couple of more songs to respond to the Word we just heard preached.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We offer children’s ministry during both of our services (from nursery though 5th grade). More than just a babysitter while you go to service, our children’s ministry is a place where your child will learn about the Bible and how it reveals the beauty of Jesus in a fun and age-appropriate way. For those with infants, we have a Nursing Mom’s Room in the back of the sanctuary. There you will find a private, quiet, and soft atmosphere where you can still see and hear the service through one-way glass while you feed your baby, change a diaper, or rock your little one to sleep.
